Stewart & Stevenson is Now Hiring a Director of Rental Operations at 4800 River Rd. Jefferson, LA 70121.

Help develop, implement and monitor KPI’s for Kirby’s Core distribution business including KPI’s for Safety, Efficiency, Utilization, Sales, and Service.  Develop operations process improvements and standardization across all branches. 

• Evaluate the organizations sources of data and work with IT function to improve/develop KPI’s and improve data visibility to drive increased operational performance.
• Evaluate the organization's procedures, facilities, and equipment to identify areas for improvement in operational and cost efficiency.
• Identify and/or develop best practices and implement across all branches.
• Work with Supply Chain to identify inventory optimization opportunities and strategies.
• Interface with Regional, Branch and Parts Managers to implement operational improvements and best practices.
• Work with Sales Team to identify improvement areas in systems/processes for customer communications.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office computer programs.
• Prior experience implementing programs w/ERP systems (i.e. SAP, Oracle, etc).
• Prior experience with visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, BOE, PowerBI, etc.).

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, HS Diploma + Required experience acceptable.
• Required minimum of 10 years of operations management experience which can include repair and maintenance and manufacturing.

Physical Activities & Requirements:

Work assignments require the ability to travel to industrial work areas other Kirby facilities.
